Kohima, August 13 (MExN): The Chogin Range Students' Union (CRSU) held ‘Scholar Fest 2017’ on August 12 at DUDA Guest House, Kohima.
Dr. GT Thong, Prof & HoD, Department of Geology, Nagaland University, who was the special guest, emphasized on skill development and encouraged the students to work hard and be self reliant. He further acknowledged that “jobs are everywhere, opportunities are scarce” and that “jobs are given to those who have skill and not with degrees,” according to a press release.
The first session was followed by ‘Discussion on career guidance and skill development’ in the second session.
The programme was chaired by Kisheto Kent, and welcome address was delivered by Shasinlo Khing, president CRSU. The union also felicitated its HSLC and HSSLC candidates.
