Kohima, July 26 : The Cabinet decision over the teachers’ appointment issue, which appeared in some local dailies, has irked the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) and Pochury Students’ Union (PSU). The two unions today expressed its strong objection to the decision of the cabinet.
Talking to The Morung Express, CSU president Esther Rhakho and PSU president Vikuolie Janry, stated that the cabinet in 2010 passed its approval of terminating the entire illegal process of appointment of teachers from 2001 to 2009, the two students’ leaders demanded the implementation of the previous decision and to cancel the present decision of the cabinet with immediate effect.
Condemning the denial of the cabinet by violating its own decision, the CSU and PSU has demanded the cabinet to immediately withdrew their decision of being keeping the abeyance of bogus appointment of teachers which is indeed a total violation their own words.
While reaffirming its previous standing resolution on the matter of not to entertained any newly coming teachers from their respective jurisdiction, CSU and PSU further warned if any unwanted issues arises out of the stated issue shall be severely dealt with.
Seeking the mandate cooperation of the public from the district viz; Chakhesang and Pochury to rendered unflinching support towards the two students; organization, Rhakho and Janry assured its fullest implementation of the issue without any further delayed .
