CTC ready to host Serampore convocation

Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The Clark Theological College is done with its years-long preparation and is now fully ready to host the Serampore College (University) Convocation. In relation to it, from February 2 to 4, the meetings of the Board of Theological Education of the Senate of the Serampore (BTESSC) and Senate of Serampore College will be held. It will begin with a seminar by Patricia Mukhim.
The principal of the college, Rev. Dr. Takatemjen Ao in a press note has stated that the meetings of the Senate will be followed by a welcome function for the graduates and senators on February 4, 6:00pm after a public dinner at 5:00pm.
On February 5, the program will begin with a commemoration service at 7:30 am in which the works of Dr William Carey and his associates will be remembered. The speaker for the occasion will be Rev. Dr O.M.Rao. The graduation ceremony, which is the main event of the convocation, will begin at 4:00pm. It will be preceded by convocation tea at 2:30pm. The speaker will be Samuel Kabue, from Kenya, the Executive Director of EDAN. He will be accompanied by his wife and son. The VC of NU, Prof. Kannan will be one of the participants at the ceremony, it stated.
The note also mentioned that Rev. Alemmeren, missionary to Hongkong, will be conferred DD on the occasion. All its graduates of 2010, local churches, founding and life members, sponsors and well-wishers of CTC are cordially invited to grace the occasion with their presence.
