Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): The Chakhesang Union Chumukedima today strongly condemned the assassination bid on Lhiupenyi Doulo, Proprietor of Kuda Cold Storage, and the attack on a Naga family in Chumukedima.
The union in a press release termed the attempt to murder a “cowardly act” and stated that Doulo was not just a businessman but someone who has sacrificed his life for the uplift of society. In this regard, the union extended its support to the stand taken by the Western Chakhesang Hoho and appealed the authorities to bring justice to the victim at the earliest.
The union also condemned the assault on a Naga family in Chumukedima and appealed to all right thinking Naga citizens to “wake up from the danger posed by the illegal immigrants in Nagaland.”
