Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The Cyber Cell of Pranab College, Dimapur, organised a Cyber Jagrukata Diwas (Cyber Awareness Day) on August 19 to raise awareness among students on cyber safety, digital security and responsible online conduct. Around 120 students participated in the awareness programme held on the college campus.
Alemjungshi Imchen, Director, IISC, Dimapur, served as the resource person and spoke on various aspects of cyber security and safe digital practices. He highlighted the importance of maintaining cyber hygiene in everyday digital activities and cautioned students about common threats including phishing, identity theft and online fraud.
Imchen also spoke about safe practices while using social media and the internet, and urged students to exercise caution during online financial transactions. He encouraged them to remain vigilant against emerging cyber threats and to act as responsible digital citizens.
