Tuensang, January 25 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Tuensang, L. Jamithung Lotha has in an order directed all the printing press to clearly indicate the name and the address of the printer and publisher in the print line of any election pamphlet, poster and such other materials printed by the press.
The order also informed that a copy of the printed material and the declaration of the publisher as required under Section 127(2) of the Representative of the People Act, 1951 is to be sent to the District Election Officer and if printed in state capital, then to the Chief Election Officer within 3 days of such printing.
All printing press under the district have been asked to comply with the instruction/guideline, failing which, action will be taken as per the relevant laws of the State.
