DC Dimapur, DLMC discuss on Biomedical waste management

Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS convened a meeting with the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) Dimapur on Biomedical waste management on November 20 in the conference Hall of DC Dimapur.

As per DIPR report, the DC who is also the Chairman of DLMC Dimapur, emphasized on the need to come up with Biomedical management plan by the committee.

He observed that all concerned departments need to prepare thematic plan for solid waste management as part of environment plan. He asked the Medical, Urban and Pollution Control Board to have a sitting and to work out a plan for proper disposal of Biomedical waste in specific designated sites.
