Kohima, August 26 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has notified for general information that a total area measuring 8093.002 sq. ft. (Loc. Nos. AP2, AP3, AP12, AP19, AP20, AP21, AP22, AP24, AP26) of land at Zhadima village is necessary to be acquired for implementation of 132kv D/C New Kohima- New Secretariat Complex Transmission Line under NERPSIP package NAG- TW- 05, Kohima district
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(1) and (2) of the Nagaland Requisition and Acquisition Act 1965, the DC Kohima has been duly authorized by the state government as competent authority to notify that if any person or party has any claim and objection over the said stretch of land or village areas, the same may report to DC office Kohima within a period of 30 days with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
In another notification, the DC Kohima has informed that the land measuring 12.87 Acres + 7269.9 sqft only at Zuru River, Mima under Kohima District, submerged at upstream and downstream is required for Zuru River Project
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition Act 1965, Acquisition Act 1884, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has been duly authorized by the state government as competent Authority to notify that if any person or party have any claim or objection over the said area, the same may be submitted to DC office, Kohima within a period of 30 days w.e.f the date of this notification as per schedule shown as North – Private; South – Private; East – Private and West – Private.
