Longleng, September 21 (MExN): All landowners, other governmental and non-governmental agencies under section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition and Acquisition Act 1965 has been informed to clear up or vacate the acquired buildings, plantation, fisheries and any other structures on the compensated areas for construction 2-lane with hard shoulders of Changtongya-Longleng road within 15 days.
The Deputy Commissioner of Longleng M Shayung Phom in a notification has stated that after the stipulated date, the acquired land will be taken possession by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (MoRTH) for construction of 2 lane of Changtonya-Longleng road (SARDP-NE) immediately without further notice, a DIPR report informed.
