DC Mokokchung launches relief distribution

Mokokchung, June 18 (MExN): Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Limawapang Jamir launched the relief distribution for daily wage earners and laborers affected by lockdown at Town Hall Mokokchung on June 18.

According to officials, a total of 2,000 households have been listed as beneficiaries from all over the district. The relief items were arranged and provided by District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Mokokchung while volunteers from Mokokchung Town Ao Baptist Arogo (MTABA) Youth Department assisted in the packaging of the relief items, a DIPR report informed.

Meanwhile, DC Limawapang also informed that a special COVID-19 vaccination drive will be conducted for all the District Task Force frontline workers, health care workers, sanitation workers, commercial vehicle drivers, shopkeepers and traders (above 18 years of age) at the District Hospital, Mokokchung Town on June 19.

As per the DIPR, the DTF Frontline Workers, Health Care Workers, Sanitation Workers will be vaccinated from 10:00 am onwards and Commercial Vehicle Drivers, Shopkeepers and Traders from 1:00 pm onwards. 

Any of the following documents should be brought along for on the spot registration: Adhaar Card, Driving License, EPIC, PAN Card, Pension document with photograph, NPR Smart Card, Travel Passport or Ration Card with photo and details like name, gender and age, the DC informed.
