
Mon, April 30 (MExN): In order to facilitate contact tracing of persons affected with COVID-19 in the future, DC Mon Thavaseelan K IAS on April 29 issued an order with the instructions for all public transport owners (bus/sumo).
A DIPR report stated that all public/private transport counters functioning within Mon district should mandatorily maintain a register to record details of all passengers on a daily basis. The register should compulsorily contain date wise information with detailed address and contact number of each passenger.
“Private Transport Association, Mon will be responsible for its implementation,” said the DC Mon.
The District Transport Officer will ensure strict enforcement of the order and initiate regular checking of the same.
Public Notice
Meanwhile, the DC Mon also issued a public notice requesting two persons from Mon district to report themselves immediately to the District Task Force, Mon. The two persons are identified as B Nyuam Konyak, address- Tizit, Mon, returnee from Bangalore; and Yabala Konyak, address - NST Colony, Mon, returnee from Delhi.
