DC Tseminyu and team verify available govt facilities

Tseminyu, April 1 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Tseminyu, Dr Zasekuolie Chüsi (IAS) visited Kasha Daho area on March 31. During the officials visit, the DC was accompanied by Superintendent of Police, Kanchan Kandpal Kumar, IPS and a host of officials including SDPO and EAC Tseminyu and members from Red Cross Society. 

The reception and interactive session was held at Panchayat Hall, Phenwhenyu village. The team physically verified all available government facilities in the eight villages, interacted with the village leaders and elders and also visited the Common Development Site at Ginshung valley so as to explore possibilities for future development in the area. 

The DC Tseminyu challenged the people to be pro-active participants in the growth of the new district, stride towards self reliance and assured all possible help from his end for the same.

The programme was chaired by Joshua Chengseb (General Secretary, Kasha Daho) while Folk song was presented by the women-folk of Phenwhenyu village to welcome the team. Short speeches were delivered by the SP, Khuzah Jurry, SDPO, Kegwayhun Tep, President Naga Students Federation, Kasha Daho president Nnolo Tep and Daniel Tep, Convenor, Kasha Daho Development Board.

The team also gifted a blanket each along with complementary parcels to eight elderly and infirm men and women in the different villages during the visit.
