Tuensang, April 8 (MExN): Apropos the demand for the Assam Rifles to clarify over the raid carried out on the residence of Kiumuhean Yim, the DC Mechanical Colony Union (DCMCU) of Old Medical ‘B’ ward, Tuensang Town, has cautioned AR informers to “confirm any information that are sensitive in nature.”
The statement came even as the 40 AR authorities clarified to the union on Sunday afternoon. The union seemed cajoled by the AR stating that it was “satisfied with the clarification”. On Friday, the union had taken a tough stand over the raid and demanded that the AR clarify the intent and the reason behind the raid.
It further informed the public to “keep vigil to the movement of any anti- social elements which are detrimental to the society” so that peace is maintained “for the welfare and prosperity of the colony.”
