Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang has urged all political parties to make a collective decision if at all election is to be deferred. He was sharing his personal view the emergency meeting of Central Executive Council (CEC) of Naga People’s Front (NPF) against the backdrop of the NSF, Naga Hoho, ENPO, NMA and tribal hohos’ call for deferment of Assembly Election in Nagaland. He expressed hope that whatever decision they had made and whatever resolution they have adopted will be intimated to all political parties and that all political parties should decide together if at all election is to be deferred. “Otherwise, 1998 election boycott should not be repeated. Any political party should not become victim of such move. If all Nagas agree, all the political party should be made a party of such decision,” he added.
