DEO Kiphire hosts science seminar

Kiphire, August 26 (MExN): The District Education Office (DEO), Kiphire organized a science seminar on the topic ‘periodic table of chemical elements: on human welfare,’ at EBRC Hall on August 23.

According to a DIPR report, EAC Kiphire, Khriethozo said that the topic of the seminar is one of the most important tools in the history of chemistry and also it has impacted greatly on the human welfare in various ways. “Kiphire being selected as the Aspirational district, we are so fortunate that more opportunity is offered to our district.” He challenged all the students to take it as a blessing and appealed to all the students to focus more on education and progress. He lauded the students especially students from Sitimi Government High School Kiphire for participating in the seminar. He requested all the teachers to work with dignity in shaping and moulding the career of the students by providing good education to them.

Altogether 12 students participated in the science seminar. First position was bagged by Kohli L Sangtam from Saramati High School, second position by Manish from Trinity High School, while third position was bagged by Yuziba from Good Shepherd High School, Kiphire.

The programme was chaired by Mhono G/T Government High School Yangphi and key note address was given by DEO.
