Kohima, April 10 (MExN): All concerned heads of government and private educational institutions under District Education Officer, Kohima to forward cases of eligible and deserving teachers for Kohima District Teachers Award 2018.
According to the DEO Kohima, Piholi Swunetho, the recommendation shall be made from among the teachers who have:
• Been contributing exceptional service to the school as well as to the society (beyond the school perimeter) and who has also pro-actively devise innovative approaches in teaching/learning process and promoting literary programs.
• Teachers who have served not less than 10 years in the teaching profession.
• Good moral character/integrity. He/she must have good reputation in the society.
• Promoting the education of differently abled children and who may have done outstanding work for inclusive education.
In this regard, it is further informed that the format for recommendation can be obtain from the office of the undersigned with immediate effect during office hour and the same, duly filled can be submitted lest by May 22.
