DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton today extended Tokhu Emong greetings to the Lotha community. Patton, in a press release said that the Lotha community traditionally celebrates their premier Tokhu Emong festival every year during the first week of November, which is popularly known as thanks post-harvest and thanksgiving festival. He further wished the community peace, success and a bright future. “As we celebrate this festival with songs, dances, feast, fun and merry-making, let us continue to preserve and protect our rich heritage and traditions,” he asked. Patton further appealed the community to strictly follow the government SOP regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
