Deputy CMO Peren asks all health workers to get vaccine

PEREN, FEBRUARY 7 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office, Peren conducted a District Review Meeting on February 5.

The meeting was attended by the District Programme Officers, Nurses, Pharmacists, DAPCU staff, District and Block Program Management Unit Staff NHM.

Deputy CMO, Peren, Dr Lanuakum reviewed the district coverage on COVID-19 vaccination drive. He stated that the percentage coverage of health workers is still very less and requested all health workers to avail the vaccine to protect oneself. He further asked all health workers to sensitize the general public in disseminating information about COVID-19 vaccine especially during the VHNDs in the villages.

He further encouraged the Block Program Managers and Block Accounts Managers to cooperate and coordinate in uploading the RCH portal.  

DPM, Elizabeth meanwhile thanked all the staff involved during the IPPI for their active participation and collective effort in achieving 95% coverage in the district. She also requested the health workers to collect the exact headcount in order to achieve its required target. She further spoke on the upcoming Intensified Mission Indradhanush.

A brief report on Leprosy was presented by Asibo, NLEP and Vime, Consultant, NVBDCP highlighted about the ongoing program on Long lasting Insecticides Treated Bed Nets (LLIN).
