Organized by the Naga United Football Club under the aegis of Dimapur District Football Association (DDFA), the Dimapur Football League (DFL) will be held from September 14 till October 27 at DDSC Stadium.
Addressing a section of the media at DDSC Stadium on Saturday, the organizers said that the objective of organizing the DFL was to stage the most competitive and compelling league with talented players of Nagaland. DFL also aims to reshape the scenario of football in Dimapur district and to provide platform to fresh and experienced legs to tussle and bring back the lost glory.
“The DFL aims to adopt the highest standards to promote football and we are committed to work under the guidance of DDFA and Dimapur District Football Referee Association (DDFRA),” the organizers said.
Member of DDFA, Tsenthungo Lotha said that the DDFA was ready to provide all possible support and assistance to the organizers. The same support was also echoed by the DDFRA.
The organizers have started issuing forms for registration from August 17 and the last date of issuing forms has been fixed on 25 August. Interested clubs have been informed to contact mobile numbers 8575394092/8730003333 or visit DDSC Stadium at Room no 8.
