Zunheboto, July 31 (MExN): District Health Society (DHS), Zunheboto conducted two-day training on Family Planning- Logistics Management Information System (FP-LMIS) for BPMs, BACs, SA, Pharmacists, GNMs, LHV, ANM's and Vaccinators at the CMO’s Office on July 30 and 31.
A press release from Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO Office, Zunheboto stated the training inculcated the ground stock and annual demand, purchase, supplier, interface and challan process, indent and issue process, issue to client and inter transfer process, reports and dashboard, mobile application and mobile SMS application.
FP-LMIS training is to strengthen logistics and supply chain management under National Family Planning programme.
The participants had pre and post-assessment which included hands-on entry in the web application. FP-LMIS, the logistics and supply chain management for family planning services will be online system, the release stated. Altogether, 28 health workers attended the training. Dr Alemwabang Aier, DPO (RCH & UIP), Zunheboto, gave the welcome address.
Hekato S Chishi, Store Keeper, CMO Office, Zunheboto and Vitoli Rosemary, DPM were the resource persons.
