He said that “lot of projects and crores of money have been pumped in the district but it only in papers. This can be corrected only if there is literacy.” The ADC said that reasoning power is essential in order to learn to live together and this reasoning power will come of one is educated.

Sharing some problems of the administration the ADC said that almost all the administrative officers posted in the district spend 90% of their time in law and order related works and there is no time for developmental work and with this how will the district move forward.

The ADC said that people of the district lack “reasoning power and anything happen it spark like a lightning and because of that things are not moving forward at all in the district.”

He sincerely appealed to the participants to take the learning forward and make a difference in the society and be an agent of change in the multi communities habited district like Kiphire.

Further, the ADC advised the participants to learn as much as possible and take this dialogue as an opportunity to make a difference in individual life as well as for community.

Niketu Iralu, social worker who led the team from Kohima said that the whole world is worried today as it is spinning and spiraling out and even the European countries are helpless with the crisis in the Middle East and especially in Syria and refugee crisis that the world is facing.

Iralu said that the famous Golden Triangle where all the drugs and other illegal things flows is situated very close to Kiphire and the impact is also felt on the people of the district. However, he added that the people living inside the Golden Triangle has produced seven noble laureate in the world and since we share the same ecosystem we should also share the same spiritual ecosystem.

Iralu also said, “Hearts not transformed are transferred” and appealed to the participants to reflect in the three day dialogue whether to transform or transferred.

Yangtsapila while welcoming the gathering appreciated the team for coming all the way from Panchghani and also from Kohima. She mentioned that the silent valley has become the most happening place because of the programme. While giving the keynote address Lipichem said, the bigger ‘we’ feeling that the people of the district have yesteryears have been replaced with smaller ‘we’ where every community feels that if I am ok  that is fine which makes the image of the district reflect all the negative message to the outside world.

He added that the participants of the programme are all willing in hearts and at the end of the program lot of differences will be expected. “The accommodative spirit- the giving and sharing spirit that the forefathers have is lost, now it is time for us to revisit and make it alive so that the district move forward together,” he added.

Lipichem also mentioned that to create a safe and secure world it is up to us and since no one wants to live in a world where there is no peace and security together we should create through this dialogue.

Special song titled, “it is better to light a candle rather than to curse the darkness” was presented by the Action for Life team Panchghani.
