Dimapur: Businesses to close at 2:00 pm, traffic restricted

Dimapur, July 20 (MExN): Dimapur Commissioner of Police, Rothithu Tetseo on Monday issued an order directing shops/establishments in and around Dimapur district to close at 2:00 pm. The CP directed ACPs Division/OCs PS to regulate shop/business timings in their respective jurisdictions. Further, the CP also said that movement of non-essential traffic after 2:00 pm has increased. ACPs Division/ACP (Traffic) I and II and OCs PS (Traffic I and II) have been directed to regulate/restrict traffic movement after 2:00 pm and install traffic barricades at major intersections in the district. DCP Traffic/DCP Zone I and II, Dimapur shall monitor the same and ensure strict compliance, the Commissioner’s order stated.
