DIMAPUR, MAY 13 (MExN): The Dimapur Deputy Commissioner has directed the public to desist from carrying out earth cutting works/construction works/ stocking up construction materials along the reserved area of Right of Way (RoW) of Dimapur-Kohima 4 Lane National Highway 29 without prior consent of concerned authorities. Further, all concerned have been directed to remove such obstruction and nuisances caused to the public road forthwith. A notice from the Dimapur DC said that person/group/organization engaging in any activity(s) which are likely to cause damage to the reserved RoW or the National Highway, drainages, curb, etc, shall be liable to be prosecuted as per the relevant provisions of the law.
