Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of the District Task Force Rajesh Soundararajan on Friday ordered the sealing of State Bank of India, Evening Branch, Dimapur for 48 hours.
The DC’s order stated that during this period, necessary sanitisation of the premises would be done by the management. Any person violating these containment measures will be penalised as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, it added.
Meanwhile, in another order, Dc Soundararajan informed that the State Bank of India, Old Market Branch at Kalibari Road has been unsealed, in supersession of the May 17 order.
