
Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): In view of the surge in COVID-19 cases, Dimapur DC has issued orders stipulating restrictions to be followed at the DC’s office complex.
The DC directed all officers, staff and visitors to the office complex to mandatorily wear face mask, practice social distancing and practice hand hygiene at all times. No visitors shall be allowed entry for purpose of selling any items of handicraft, tickets, calendars, badges etc, it added.
Services like Aadhaar correction/enrolment, issue of ST/Indigenous Certificate, Society registration/ renewal will remain temporarily suspended and only authorized vehicles would be allowed to enter the complex.
“There shall be no public interview on Wednesdays and Saturdays except for matters of very urgent nature and matters concerning law and order,” it stated while informing that public visiting hours are between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
No visitors shall have access to any files or noting from any files except through the RTI act. The authorized officer/staff/dealing assistant/peon shall be accountable for safe custody and handling of files and records, it added.
