Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): While congratulating Neiphiu Rio on NPF’s win, general secretary of Bengali Hindu Community, Ashish Deb, today said that majority of the non-Naga population of Dimapur I voted for Tovihoto Ayemi (NPF) during this election due to his dynamic leadership skills. “Dimapur has been neglected for a long time, with no proper drainage or roads. We were hoping Tovihoto will be able to change that with a good portfolio,” said Deb, speaking on the sidelines of today’s protest by NPF youth presidents of Dimapur I assembly constituency. “Many people want to work in Nagaland but the sight of Dimapur deters them. The non-Nagas of Dimapur I, II and III want Tovihoto to be given an additional portfolio that will help develop the whole city,” Deb reiterated.
