With this in mind and with the objective to present men in uniform as people and child friendly, Dimapur Police took the initiative in bringing together officers and NGOs from different fields who joined hands and contributed towards the procurement of assistive devices for visually impaired children.

A device called ‘Daisy Player’ was distributed on July 25, from the office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur to 17 visually impaired students enrolled in 4 government Schools within Dimapur district, who are from economically backward backgrounds.
