Dimapur, June 28 (MExN): The Dimapur Police in separate events have seized around 3,262 cases of assorted IMFL worth several lakhs of rupees in the market, according to a press release from the Commissioner of Police office. On June 24, in a joint raid conducted by Dimapur Police and 32 Assam Rifles, 752 cases of assorted IMFL were seized from a house at 6th Mile, Dimapur. Further on June 25, two trucks entering Dimapur via Assam was intercepted at Newfield check-gate. 2400 cases of assorted IMFL were seized from the two trucks bearing registration JH-02C-9881 and AS-01CB 5392. Four persons have been arrested in connection to the case, the release added. Meanwhile, 110 cases of assorted IMFL were seized from one Tata Mobile bearing NL07A 3524 at Sewak Road, Dimapur on June 26. One person has been arrested in this connection. Ganja seized In two separate events, the Dimapur Police seized around 260 kg of contraband ganja. On June 19, 230 kg of ganja was seized from Toulazuma village from the possession of one L. Toupray Chaomai of Tungam Village, Senapati and present resident of Toulazuma village. Another 30 kg of ganja was seized on June 22 at GS Road, Dimapur from the possession of one Talu John of Maram village, Senapati and present resident of K. Sachu Colony, Dimapur.
