KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Athletics has informed that the Athletics Federation of India is organizing Khelo India Women’s League in 25 cities across India from September 17-21.
Among the 25 cities, Dimapur has been selected as one the city to organize the road race events. As per directives from the Athletics Federation of India, the Nagaland Athletics Association will be organizing several events on September 18.The events include U-16 Girls – 3km and Women – 5km.
It further informed that only school cumulative record book or Aadhaar card will be considered for proof of age. Certificates of merit will be provided to all the top 5 winners and all participants will be provided with participation certificates.
Athletes can register themselves by filling in the Google form by scanning the QR Code. The last date for registration is September 16. Registration fee will be Rs 200 per participant. All participants must report at Government Higher Secondary School ground, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur at 5:00am on the day of the competition.
In this regard the Nagaland Athletics Association has invited all interested female athletes to register themselves to be part of the mega event.
