Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): In view of the 72nd Independence Day celebration on August 15 at DDSC Stadium here, Dimapur Traffic Police will be enforcing the following traffic regulation:
1. Vehicles with car pass ‘Z’ (Red) will be allowed entry inside the DDSC Stadium and car pass ‘Y’ (Green) will be allowed entry inside Tragopan Point towards DDSC Stadium.
2. The New Field Check Gate will be completely sealed off and no entry of vehicles will be allowed through the inter-state check gate from 7:00 am till the end of the programme.
3. Entry from the Tragopan Point will be sealed off completely and entry allowed only for vehicles with passes.
4. The stretch between City Tower and Tragopan Point will be a no-entry zone for vehicles other than those with car pass and traffic will be directed towards Plaza Point from City Tower and towards Eros Lane from Tragopan Point.
5. Plying of vehicles from Khermahal Point towards Anwar Hussain Road and vice-versa will not be allowed.
A press release from the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur informed that the above arrangement will be effective from 7:00 am on August 15 till the completion of the function. All those issued with car pass have been advised to display the same to avoid any inconveniences.
