DIMAPUR, MAY 7 (MExN): The Dimapur Young Xl lifted the Dimapur District Cricket Association U 16 trophy defeating Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School on May 7 at DDSC ground Dimapur.
Elected to bat first Dimapur Young Xl scored 210 runs in 25 overs. Raja scored 100 runs and Sundram took 4 wickets for the champions. In reply Zakiesato were bundle out for 70 runs in 11 overs.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by PB Jamir, Convernor, Cricket Advisory Committee and former Vice President of NCA, wherein he urged players to be serious with cricket as now the NCA is a full fledged member of BCCI and they need to compete with players from all over India.
He also thanked the DDCA for continuing to be a contributing member in terms of players to the Nagaland Cricket Association.
