Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority Rajesh Soundararajan on May 5, ordered the sealing of Union Bank of India, Dimapur to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The bank premises will be sealed for 48 hours during which necessary sanitization of the premises shall be done by the management, the DC’s order stated.
Any violation of these containment measures will be penalized as per the provisions of Sections 51 to 60 the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, it added.
