Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): Expressing anguish at ‘yet another delay’ in disbursement of scholarships to students, the office of the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has issued an ultimatum to the State Higher Education department to disburse State Merit Scholarship 2021 within 14 days.
In its ultimatum addressed to the Director of the department on May 4, the Union noted that “it has been the trend of the department to introduce new excuses year after year on delaying the disbursement of scholarship to the students.”
Demanding disbursement of the scholarship within 14 days, the ANCSU cautioned that failure of the department to do so would result in the Union resorting to “any befitting democratic protest of the day.”
