Dimapur, November 16 (MExN): Dimapur Municipal Council Administrator, Albert Ezung has informed all the peoples under its jurisdiction to follow the following instructions, in view of keeping the city clean.
That, no garbage/waste shall be thrown/deposited on the road side other than designated waste bin or collection point. No garbage shall be thrown/deposited in any dustbin/collection point once it is cleared by DMC in the morning. The garbage/waste of the respective household/shop/business establishment or any other institutions where door to door collection system is not adopted are to be thrown/deposited in the designated waste bin/point before 6:00 am in the morning and in the evening after 6:00 pm. The Administrator in a circular requested all the residents/shop keepers/business establishments/institutions to strictly follow the above instructions and extend full co-operation to support DMC to make Dimapur city waste/garbage free. “Anyone found violating the rules shall be penalized with fine and other legal course of action, as per provisions of law,” it added.
