Don’t take advantage of road condition: ANTA to taxi drivers

Kohima, August 5 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association, Kohima headquarters, has warned taxi drivers, both local and zonal, to “refrain from taking advantage of the prevailing road conditions and shortages being faced by the public of Nagaland at these times of difficulties.” It affirmed that in case of reports of rates being charged higher than that of the prescribed rates, the ANTA headquarters will “execute all means of penalties to the erring drivers.” A press release from ANHTA Kohima headquarters, Viba Solo, ordered all drivers, specially zonal drivers, to “insist on valid documents of non local passengers such as ILPs, passes and local proof documents etc. in view of the present NRC turmoil.” The ANTA also appealed to the public “not to harbor any drivers in abetting such acts.”
