
Kohima, August 5 (MExN): The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Nagaland has informed the candidates for Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE) 2020 to undergo courses in Agri & Allied and Para-Medical against the State allotted seats that the conduct the said was not considered to be held due to the pandemic conditions and restrictions.
Instead, the recommendations of the constituted Committee on the Methodology for determining the Merit List 2020 were approved, Er Arjun Singh, Director, DoTE stated in a notification.
Accordingly, the Common Selection Board (CSB) of August 4 has accorded the Merit List 2020 determined as per the approved Methodology of Normalization of Marks based on NBSE marks as BASE for selection of the candidates.
It further informed that the Department had sought relaxation for the State nominees for admission beyond the notified dates specified by the concerned colleges/universities. However, the request was not considered and therefore the selected candidates as notified on August 4 adhere to the terms and timeline specified.
