DPDB meetings held in Phek and Wokha districts

Phek/Wokha, December 12 (DIPR): The District Planning and Development Boards (DPDBs) of Phek and Wokha have held their monthly meetings for December.  

The Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its meeting at DPDB conference hall, Phek on December 12, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, Shanavas C (IAS).  

After review of the last meeting minutes, the board approved the development of Phek district website for which the departments were requested to submit write ups of their departmental activities within the week for inclusion on the website.  

Meanwhile, the DC informed the Head of Offices to remain in their stations and work for the benefit of the public. He also sought cooperation for the forthcoming election.   ADC Phek K Mhathung Tsanglao demonstrated on the function of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM), while departmental activities presentations were given by JNV, Zuketsa and ITI, Phek.  

The next DPDB departmental activities presentation will be given by District Sports Officer, Phek and Food & Civil Supplies, Phek.  

Meanwhile, DPDB Wokha held its meeting on December 11 at DC’s conference hall, Wokha. Chaired by DPDB Vice Chairman & DC, Wokha, Manazir Jeelani Samoon (IAS), the meeting approved LADP 2017-18 Implementation Committee members for the four Assembly Constituencies and Common Pool.  

Following are the members according to constituency: 37th Tiyi A/C – Convener- SDO (C) HQ, Members- BDO, Chukitong and AE (CAWD) Wokha; 38th Wokha A/C & Common Pool Schemes – Convener - ADC HQ, Members- DHO (Horticulture) and EE, PWD (R&B); 39th Sanis A/C – Convener- SDO (C) Sanis, Members- DPO (LRD) and SDO PWD (R&B) Sanis; and 40th A/C Bhandari – Convener, ADC Bhandari, Members- SDO (C) Ralan and SDO PWD (R&B) Baghty.
