Mokokchung, July 23 (MExN): Dr. Pijush Kanti Biswas, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Mokokchung was conferred with ‘Best Scientist Award’ by leading research and branding organisation EET CRS on the occasion of 6th Faculty Branding Award Ceremony-2018 in Kolkata on July 22.
The award was given for his excellent contribution in the field of agriculture and allied sector, informed a press release from KVK Mokokchung.
Over 12 years of dedicated and passionate work in the field of agriculture finally brought the much deserved award to him, it was stated.
The research team followed evaluation criteria like research paper as first author, review & article published, books & chapters written as first author & edited, PI ship of projects, seminar organized, invited talks given, Radio/TV talks, popular articles published, patent filed & consultancy project undertaken.
