Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (NSBSG) congratulates Minister for Higher Education & Urban Development Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu on his being awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Dr. Shurhozelie is also the president of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides.
“It is our sincere prayer that Almighty God will grant him long life as he continues to serve the society in various capacities and it has been a great moral boost for the Scouts & Guides as a whole for his extraordinary achievement, where he is always a driving factor in uplifting this noble movement, especially in our state,” a note from the State Chief Commissioner of NSBSG Khyomo Lotha stated today.
Also, the note expressed anguish over the fire incident that burned a section of the chief minister’s official residence Tuesday night. The association conveys sympathy to him and his family members and staff.
