Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): Dimapur Railway High School (DRHS) ex-student forum conducted a General meeting with its office bearers and members of the DRHS 65 years Celebration committee, at Pink City Hotel Conference hall, Dimapur on August 25.
A press release issued by Niranjan Saha, Joint Secretary ex student Forum of DRHS stated that the agenda of the meeting was accounts submission and discussion on fate of DRHS which was established in the year 1951, and on its present detoriating condition. The meeting was chaired by its President P B Paul, who thanked all the members who has taken the initiative to celebrate 65 years of DRHS and further encouraged the ex-students and well wishers to revive the school from its present position.
Bishnu Bhattacharjee General Secretary DRHS ex-student forum delivered a speech and submitted the annual reports and accounts in the house, which was anonymously passed.
It was resolved in the meeting that a representation would be made with memorandum by DRHS ex student forum to the Railway authority to revive the school and upgrade it to CBSE standard, for better education facility to the students of Dimapur. The speakers of the meeting were Anjali Roy Convenor of DRHS Ex student Core committee and Shankar Deb, Ganesh Sharma, Kartick Mazumder, Pranab Roy, Niranjan Saha, Rupak Das Secretaries of celebration committee.
