Peren, November 21 (MExN): The District Task Force (DTF) meeting on Intensified Mission Indradanush (IMI) was held on November 20 at Conference Hall, Additional Deputy Commissioner Office, Jalukie.


The programme was chaired by Sentiwapang Aier, Deputy Commissioner Peren. Officials of various Departments from District Administration, Chief Medical Office, School Education, District Welfare Office, DPRO, Police and Assam Rifles attended the meeting. 


District Media Officer, CMO Office in a press release stated the DC expressed appreciation to all the    members for attending the meet. Dr Denis Hangsing, CMO gave a brief note about the IMI.


Dr M Nukshisangla Jamir, DPO, RCH/UIP gave a power point presentation highlighting the various aspects of IMI, while adding that 7 villages will be covered for Peren District. She said that IMI planning was done according to actual head count and thus the due list is calculated with the proper list of missed out and dropped out children. The IMI is not only focusing on the hard to reach areas but also in the urban areas, Dr Jamir added.


She acknowledged the 36 AR team for their continuous support to the medical team and also the line department.  
The Chairman acknowledged the convergence of the line department with the medical department in educating and creating intensive awareness about the importance of immunization for the success of the programme.
