Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): Based on the ENPO notification and as per the resolution adopted during the joint consultative meeting of ENPO and Eastern Nagaland GBs and DBs on March 16 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, Eastern Nagaland GBs Union (ENGBU) has been formed.
The new union will be led by Dr. C. Thritongse Sangtam as president, Wanglang Konyak as vice president, Mennyei Phom as general secretary, S. Khumong Khiam as finance secretary, S. Makam Yimchunger and Litongse Sangtam as joint secretaries, Tochu Chang as information secretary and Khoni Chang as treasurer.
The newly selected office bearers was formally inducted with thanksgiving prayer offered by Y.B. Angam Phom in presence of the advisors, president and colleagues of ENPO in Tuensang headquarters on March 29. The ENPO and ENGBU have jointly affirmed to work for the larger interest and welfare of the people of Eastern Nagaland.
A press note further informed that the Eastern Nagaland DBs Union will be formally launched on or before April 10, 2016 at Tuensang Hq.
