Conditions of some hotels and restaurants in Dimapur. Food Safety Officials under the establishment of Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur inspected hotels and restaurants in and around Dimapur. 

 

Dimapur, November 29 (MExN): In view of the Hornbill Festival and the festive season approaching and as per higher authority directive, Food Safety Officials under the establishment of Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur inspected hotels and restaurants in and around Dimapur.


In the course of inspection, some hotels and restaurants were found with non-possession of Food Safety Licence/Registration and hygiene compliance to be done both for the premises and personal. 


Samuel Zehol, Designated Officer (Food Safety), O/o Chief Medical Officer Dimapur in a press release stated that an Improvement Notice under Section 32 of Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006 will be issued to the Food Business Operators for compliance under Food Safety norms.
