An education fair organized by Genius Career Guide along with other co-sponsors at Hotel Acacia on Tuesday witnessed moderate response from students and parents.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Special Branch), Dimapur, Kilangtoshi Jamir, who inaugurated the fair in his address said such kind of a fair is very important and a wonderful platform for institutions to come together. “We should realize that general education is now commercialized and is not something that you should blindly go. Be careful about the choice of institutions you are making,” Jamir said. The chief guest also said there might be plenty of options, but that the question is whether “we are making the right choice.”

The participating institutes included Fortis Institute of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, Pacific University, Alpine Group of Institutions, NGF College of Engineering and Technology, Geeta Group of Institutions, Manav Rachgna Institutions, Karnal Group of Institutions, Budge Budge Institute of Technology, Lovely Professional University, E Max Group of Institutions, RCP University, Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, and George group of Institutions.
