Education Minister interact with Naga students in Delhi

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): Minister for Higher Education and Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along hosted an interaction session with the Naga students in Delhi over dinner at Nagaland House, New Delhi on July 17.  

In a press release, Kuolie Mere, PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi stated that during the interaction, the students highlighted their grievances and also informed about the various Naga student bodies functioning in Delhi. They also presented their annual budgets to the Minister for financial assistance.  

Meanwhile, the Minister exhorted the student community asking them to work hard to achieve their goal. He also shared his vision for the Naga Students in Delhi and said, “All the Naga students are equal, be from Nagaland or any part of the state under India.”  

The Minister further appealed the student unions to come together as “one union under the Naga Students Union Delhi” and stated, “We should show to the world that Nagas are one, both in spirit and in action.”  

The Minister requested all the tribal student unions to submit their statistical data through NSUD office at the earliest possible time.
