Looking at the state of Nagaland today, it is evident that there have been efforts by the state government and society towards gender equality and rights, resulting in achievements in various areas. For instance, there are now two women MLAs representing women in the NLA after many years of statehood. Women are also holding roles as IAS officers, doctors, actresses, and more.
