Dimapur, July 26 (MExN): The Evergreen Society Angling Club has announced to organise Open Angling Competition 2016 on July 30 at society’s angling club from 7 am to 5 pm. The club management has stated that the competition will be judged in the category of single biggest catch. First prize winner will receive a sum of Rs. 10,000, first runner will receive Rs. 5000, while second runner up will receive Rs. 2000. Participants are informed to reach the venue by 5 am for registration. A sum of Rs. 2500 will be charged from each participant as competition fee. Organisers have further informed that fishes below six inches and turtles will have to be released back. Club would remain open on second and fourth Saturdays for angling, informed Tithono K.
