Mokokchung, November 29 (MExN): District level eVIN cum Routine Immunization refresher training for Cold Chain Handlers and Health Workers at Mokokchung District was held at the Chief Medical Conference hall on November 29.
According to a report from DPMU, CMO office the training started with welcome speech and Introduction by Dr Kibangkumba Dy CMO. He requested the trainers to be sincere in their duties with special attention to Immunization since this being the backbone of the Health delivery system. The resource persons for the training were Kingson Shimray SPO, UNDP and Imli Longkumer Project Officer, UNDP.
The trainers were trained on vaccine preventable disease, planning and conducting Immunization, Micro plan for Immunization and recordings and reporting of HMIS and eVIN. They were also oriented on the Cold Chain and Vaccine logistic Management, Demonstration of eVIN store app and order management module.
SPO stressed on the urgent need for strengthening of Routine Immunization activities to achieve 90% fully Immunized since Nagaland was bottom on the list registering in Immunization while comparing with other North Eastern States.
