Dimapur, May 16 (MExN): As part of the faculty development programme and orientation, a one day workshop on ‘faculty skills development’ was held at C-Edge College on May 16.
A press release said that the workshop had three sessions – the first formal session where the Principal Dr. Chubatola Aier gave the welcome speech. The keynote address was given by Alice Donna, HoD of Sociology, on the objectives and the significance of having such skill development programme.
This was followed by the two technical sessions which was taken over by the resource person, Dipak Borah from Bosco College of Teacher Education. He presented and discussed on the topics – strategy and skills teaching and on the methodology for identification and measures for remedial and enrichment teaching.
The last session comprised mostly of interaction among all on effective teaching skills and enrichment teaching. In addition, Principal Dr. Chubatola Aier also presented and discloses on the introduction of ‘Perspective Classes’ which will be another one of the college Best Practices.
