Graduated students and others during the 13th convocation of FTS Jotsoma on April 29.
Kohima, May 1 (MExN): The Faith Theological Seminary (FTS), Jotsoma held its 13th Convocation on April 29 last.
Thirty-five students were graduated. Due to the current situation it was held with limited number of people where strict guidelines (SOP) was maintained.
Message was delivered by Rev Dr Visielie Angami, Principal of the Seminary. He shared on the Theme “As the Father sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20: 21). As the graduates entered into the ministry of Lord Jesus Christ, he encouraged the graduates to hold on two anchors- the anchor of their calling and the model of Jesus’ ministry.
The principal gave away the awards and certificates to the graduates. The programme was led by Asola Jamir, Academic Dean.
Academic Excellence Award was received by Nevizonuo Pienyu of M Div and Tanwang Konyak of B Th. The Best Thesis award was received by Vevosalu and second by Rupfuvituo both from M Div. The award for Best Leadership Skill was bagged by Keviphenuo of M Div. First Best Term Paper was received by Khriekethonuo and second by Hukheto, both from M Div (DE) Distance Education. All Rounder Award was received by Rupfuvituo of M Div.
The programme culminated with a commissioning prayer led by the principal, faculty and Board members.
